Have you ever had those times in your life you just don't feel like doing anything? Or maybe you do, but you can't. Or just maybe you know what is right, but you cannot seem to push yourself to do it. Maybe you're on an emotional roller coaster to where you know you just cannot trust your emotions or feelings to indicate what is right (girls...). Or maybe you have failed God in some way, and no matter what you do, whether it be through repentance, catharsis, or prayer, you just cannot seem to overcome the feeling of guilt for what you have done.
Hebrews 13:8 gives us something we should think about in those complex times in our lives. It says, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever."
When we really feel like we've blown it, just remember He is just as merciful as He was the other day. Go to Him. Come to Him. He is always calling for you and me. There is absolutely nothing we can do to separate our hand from His (Isaiah 41:13; Romans 8:38-39).
